Shlomit Elkana embodies a rare fusion of disciplines. With 30 years of experience as a Grinberg Method practitioner and 20 years as a teacher, her work is deeply grounded in understanding the human body’s potential for transformation. In addition, Shlomit’s 30-year journey as a martial artist, including a Black Belt (Dan 7) in Chinese Martial Arts which adds a powerful dimension to her teaching. Her unique blend of knowledge guides participants toward deeper self-awareness and physical strength.

Avi is the founder of the Grinberg Method, a somatic methodology that teaches people to shift into the body, relax into fear, and break free of patterns that reduce their quality of life. In his 40 years of experience in the field of body attention, he has worked with tens of thousands of students and clients, and changed the lives of millions through his unique approach to fear and pain.
He is the author of several books, including Becoming Yourself: Body Attention and the Fulfillment of Potential (2021) and Fear, Pain, and Other Friends (1994).

"After workshop I noticed how I change my perception on my daily thoughts in my head, specially how my body reacts to it. I wrote down a lot of things from workshop that both of the teachers were sharing and I open this notebook many times to go back, it helps me "stay on track". I do this exercises many times a week and its the only thing that really helps me get relaxed and going back into my body. So I gues that how this workshop has impacted me, how lucky we are to have this body of ours, where is body over mind and not other way around. I learned that we should first listen to body, to teach ourselves to relax it (not with sleeping) but with this attention and exercises that they shared.
And also what I loved was when each member shared their stories and then I could hear Avis viewpoint on it, how he helped the people realize meaning behind their fear.
